Brown, 69,who died recently in Orlando ,Fla., after a long illness were held here Monday at Miller & Ketcham Funeral Home by the Rev.William J. Monroe, pastor of the North Springfield Advent Christian Church, where Mr. Brown was once a member. He also served many years as a deacon of the Advent Church in Rutland, Vt. Bearers were the Rev. Philip Raynard and Ronald Sherwin, both of Rutland, and James Losee and Jonathan Kingsbury, both of Springfield, Vt. He is survived by a sister, Mabel Towne of Orlando, Fla.;two daughters, Mrs. Gerald McDevitt of North Clarendon, Vt., and Mrs. Charles Kingsbury of Springfield, Vt.; a son, the Rev. Alan H. Brown of Manchester, N.H.; six grandchildren,three great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.Burial was in Forest Dale (Vt) Cemetery. Mr. Brown's son , the Rev. Brown, officiated.
