I have a Denison Blackmer born 1819 died 1893, married Sabra Kingsley in 1854, daughter of Chester and Rhoda Weeks Kingsley. They're buried in Pine Hill Cemetery outside Brandon. Also believe a Blackmer married Chester Kingsley Jr, after 1843, the son of Chester and Rhoda Kingsley. Believe it was Elizabeth Blackmer, born about 1822, died 1852, buried in Congregational Church cemetery in Brandon. They were the parents of a Charles Kingsley born 1849 and a Denison born ca 1851. At Pine Hill Cemetery there is a stone for: Hiram Blackmer died Feb 1st 1889 ae 75; Marrett wife of Hiram Blackmer died Aug 14, 187_ (can’t read the last number: 6, 8 or 9). On the same stone: Willie H died Dec 11, 1884, ae 34. Hiram could possibly be a brother. Would this be your Melissa Blackmer family? I do not know the parents of Denison or Elizabeth.
