Source, Rutland Vt.Daily Herald--Tue.Aug.26, 1952. THOMAS J. McCORMACK. Thomas James McCormack, 74, of Clarendon Springs road, Clarendon,Vt., died at his home yesterday following a long illness. A native of Dorset, Vt., he lived most of his life in West Rutland, Vt. Mr. McCormack was a foreman at the Green Mountain Marble corporation of West Rutland, Vt. until his retirement several years ago. He was a member of the Holy Name society of St. Bridget's church. Surviving are his wife, the former Cordelia Bushee ; five sons ,Thomas L. of Hartford, Conn.,Edward B. of Rutland, Vt., Patrick J., Joseph C. and Francis J., all of West Rutland, Vt.; seven daughters, Mrs. Patrick Costello and Mrs. William McDevitt of West Rutland, Vt.,Mrs. Amiel Fisher of New York city, Mrs. Donald Bishop of Fair Haven, Vt.,Mrs. Edward Haddad of Bennington, Vt., Mrs. Francis Stanley of Mendon, Vt. and Miss Susan McCormack of Albany, N.Y.; one brother, Patrick J., of West Rutland, Vt.; 25 grandchildren ; several nieces and nephews. The body will be moved from the Mullin Funeral Home in West Rutland to his residence today. Friends may call after 7 p.m. Funeral arrangements are pending.
