Source, Rutland Vt. Daily Herald--Thur. Oct.3, 1940. JAMES T. RYAN. CLARENDON, Vt. ,Oct.2--James T. Ryan, 63, a farmer, died at noon today at his home after a long illness. The funeral will be held Saturday morning at 10 o'clock at St. Patrick's church in Wallingford, Vt. of which he was a member. The burial will be in the church cemetery. Mr. Ryan was born in Orwell, Vt. on May 24,1877. He moved to Clarendon, Vt. more than 20 years ago. He is survived by his wife, the former Agnes Rourke of Shoreham, Vt.; three daughters, Sister Laurentia of St. Joseph's seminary, Troy, N.Y., and Misses Catherine and Mary Ryan of Clarendon, Vt.; one son, John J. Ryan of Clarendon ; and three brothers, Robert Ryan of Orwell, Vt., and David and John Ryan of Vergennes, Vt.
