Source, Rutland,Vt.Daily Herald--Jan.21, 1936. WILLIAM WEEKS. William Weeks, prominent farmer and lifelong resident of Clarendon, Vt. died at his home yesterday morning after a brief illness. He was born January 26, 1849, on the same farm on which he died. he was educated in the Clarendon schools and was graduated from the Rutland Vt. High school. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Hattie Barney Weeks; a son, Amherst Weeks; three grandsons, Carroll, William and Lincoln Weeks; two nieces, Miss Mary W. Ellis and Mrs. Jessie Ellis Pratt of Springfield, Vt.; two nephews, Otis Ellis of Springfield, Vt., and Fred Weeks of Glens Falls, N.Y., and a sister-in-law, Mrs. Matie B. Sherwood of Rutland, Vt. Funeral services will be held at his home in Clarendon Friday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock. Burial will be in East Clarendon cemetery, with Rev. O. R. Houghton of Wallingford, Vt., officiating.
