    1. Driscoll Poultney
    2. Hi Bob, I always wanted to find a connection to the Daniel Crowley /Mary Driscoll stone it was so specific but I never thought I would. So great! Today I was in the cem in Poultney and spotted Edward Butler 1802-May22, 1890 born Dunmanus County Cork wife Mary Driscoll 1812- April15, 1890 (no place of birth given) Dunmanus is a townsland in the parish of Schull. Given the very old birthdates, perhaps these two were from the same place in Ireland and wed before coming to America. By the way there was another Driscoll family in Poultney from County Clare, I assume unrelated. If you go to google.com and list "Skull" Crowley Driscoll you will find the Griffiths Valuation, (Census substitute) for the parish of Schull County Cork mid 1800s. Oh Oh, Phone is ringing!
