    3. Thanks, Peter -- I have a lead for now, but if things don't work out, I'll get back to you in a couple weeks. I'm well aware David's work -- I've got most of it hosted at my genealogy website. He has a lot of great information there, but I'm only starting to gather some of the sources he used (I'm putting together a note to him next). He was not able to make many copies/scans back when he did his original research. The Morgan line that my wife is part of gets a little thin for a couple generations, and I'm trying to flesh it out. I haven't got much on Mary Doran, but I believe you're right. I'm not sure that many of "her" Doran's came over to Rutland County -- she was from Co. Cork. The post 1900 ones would be more likely but perhaps of a limited nature. I am pretty straight out for the next couple of weeks. Perhaps someone else could get on it sooner. Just double checking: you are familiar with David Christianson's Pinders Morgan work? Trivia: I think I once came across some info that the Mary Doran Pinders was not of the large well known Doran family from West Castleton out of the north of Ireland but of another smaller family from the south of Ireland. (Perhaps this was in the Christianson material) Regards, Peter Patten
