Vermont and also from Whitehall area, NY (Hampton, Washington County,NY)... and I lived in the area in my childhood. I noticed your query because I have some lines "ADAMS"... and in researching them, I have come across cemetery records which list several JAKWAY families in West Haven, Vermont... this was very close to Whitehall,NY.. if one traveled down Lake Champlain.... some names are Lemuel, George, Jacob, Henry..... they are buried in Center Cemetery in West Haven.
