Denio of Springfield, Mass., has returned home ,having been called here by the death of his nephew, Earle D.Wickham. Mrs. E. D. Wickham, Mrs. Eugene Sweetland, Mr. and Mrs. F. W. Morse and children, John and Charlotte, have returned to Great Neck, L.I., having been called here by the death of Earle D. Wickham. Mrs. J. A. Vogel has as her guest her sister, Miss Carrie McGrath of Albany. Mr. and Mrs. Anton Krall motored to Albany Sunday and were accompanied home by their niece and nephew, Theresa and Billy Fleming of New York, who will spend the remainder of the summer. Robert McConnell of New York is visiting his mother, Mrs. M. A. Newton. Mrs. J. C. Norton and children, Betty, Robert and Janet of Bristol are spending a few days with her sister,Mrs. R. I. Williams Mrs. C. J. Flood, who is attending summer school at U. V. M., Burlington, spent the week-end with her family here. Mr. and Mrs. C. J. Blair and son of Orwell spent Sunday with her mother and sister, Mrs. H. R. Carlton and Mrs. Rogers Gilligan at the lake. Miss Elizabeth Roberts and niece, Alice Robert of East Orange , N.J., are visiting her brother, Walter Roberts , in South Poultney. Misses Marion , Emily, Hazel, Harriet, Burt and Leona Roberts are at Lake St. Catherine at Camp Ja-he-ba (sic). The condition of Miss Stella B. Austin, who has been confined to her home with neuritis for several weeks, is improving. Mrs. T. J. Kett of New York is spending a month with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. M. McCarty. Mr. and Mrs. Ezra Van Guilder, Mr. and Mrs. Grif Morris, Mr. and Mrs. Curtis Haynes, son, Donald, and Mr. and Mrs. Joe Haynes are spending two weeks at Camp Colvin, Lake St. Catherine. Miss Nellie Kett of Boston is the guest of her brother, C.T.Kett. Ezra Roberts of Poultney and Ralph Norton of Middletown Springs are substituting in the Congregational church choir, Rutland, for the month of August.
