There will be a joint meeting of the Woman's Foreign and Home Missionary societies at the home of Mrs. Clark of Main street on Friday afternoon at 3 o'clock. A report of the summer school of missions, recently held at Round lake, will be given. Mrs. Helen Carlton has gone to Orwell where she will spend the winter with her daughter, Mrs. C. J. Blair. George R. Town left Thursday for Troy, N.Y., where he will enter Rensselaer Polytechnical Institute. Miss Alice Mahar has gone to Lyndonville where she will teach. Nelson E. Horton of Boston is spending two weeks with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. A. E. Horton. Miss Marion Ripley has gone to Oneonta, N.Y., where she is a guest of Rev. and Mrs. L. C. Denney. Mrs. Warren H. Parker and son,Warren, jr., have returned from Lynn, Mass.,where they visited Mrs. Parker's brother, Robert McDowell. Mr. and Mrs. C. W. Barker and daughters, Margaret and Doris, have returned to their home in Brooklyn, N.Y., after spending some time at the home of Mr. and Mrs. H. H. Rawson of Main street.
