    3. Hello, Listers! I am going to attempt this once again. I have received help from many of you over the past few years and I am very grateful to all of you. I am still searching for more HIGGINS information. I am trying to locate the place/date of death for my great-great-grandmother, Susannah Elizabeth FARRELL, who married Jonas HIGGINS. He died 1895 in Rutland Town, and had lived in Ira, as did his brother. Their daughter (my great-grandmother), Bertha HIGGINS, married John GRAY in 1902. I cannot locate Bertha or the rest of her family (mother or sisters, Etta/Ettie Mae, Flora Belle, Jessie) on the 1900 Census. Her brother, Wallie, lives with their aunt, Mrs. Wm. HIGGINS (this was Susannah's sister who married Jonas's brother). Anyway, it seems the females of the family just disappeared. I do not know if Susannah remarried or what. My great-grandmother went by the nickname "Birdie," so it is possible that the other girls had nicknames or were married at this point. I know that in Rutland County there were two or three distinct HIGGINS families. In Addison County, there was only my line of HIGGINS, as far as I know. If anyone has a HIGGINS piece of data, please share it with me. It may connect, somehow! I am also trying to locate my great-great-great-grandmother, Margaret SEARS/HIGGINS/NICHOLS. She remarried in 1878 to Paul NICHOLS, but I cannot locate her on the 1880 Census. There is a Paul NICHOLS in Addison County, but he is listed as a widow. Can anyone add to my confusion and mayhem? :-) I'd love for you to try! Thanks and God Bless! :-)Ronie Kendig Texas ---------------------------------------- My Inbox is protected by SPAMfighter 135 spam mails have been blocked so far.
