WHITEHALL, N.Y., Oct.2--Mrs. Stella Walker Stockton, wife of John Stockton, of South Glens Falls,(NY), died Monday at her home. She lived in Whitehall (N.Y.) most of her life but was a native of Saratoga Springs, (N.Y.) where she was born February 1, 1899. Mrs. Stockton was active in the Baptist church, and of the Philathea class and Mission circle at South Glens Falls. Survivors are her husband; three sisters, Mrs. Arthur E. Smith of Fair Haven, Vt., Mrs. Andrew Rodd of Rutland, Vt. and Mrs. Alfred L. Robinson of Easton, Pa.; two brothers, Jesse E. Walker of Springfield, Mass.,and Chester E. Walker of West Cunningham, Mass. The body was taken to Hudson Falls, N.Y. and the funeral will be held at the Stockton home Thursday at 2 p.m.,Rev. W.A. Gilbride, pastor of the South Glens Falls Baptist church will officiate. Burial will be made in the Stillwater cemetery, Stillwater, N.Y.
