July 27--Harry Parry, of Rome ,N.Y., a former Poultney, Vt. resident died at the home of a sister in Groeslon, Wales, where he was visiting. He and Mrs. Parry, the former Mrs. Charlotte Richards,sailed for Wales in the Queen Mary on June 24 for a visit. Mr.Parry was a brother of Mrs. Robert O. Thomas of Poultney, Vt. An active Mason for 48 years, Mr.Parry was a Shriner, a member of the Knights Templar, and the former Dyfed Lodge, American Order of True Ivorities. He was born in Llanllyfni, Wales, in 1869, son of Henry and Jane (Thomas) Parry. He came to this country when a boy, residing in Poultney for 60 years. He has lived in Rome, N.Y. for the past 11 years. Surviving besides his wife, and two sisters, are a brother, John Parry, Talysarn, Wales ; three step-daughters, Mrs. Lena Hughes and Mrs. Ellen Mean, Rome, N.Y., and Mrs. Egyrnwen Whitacre, Cresson, P.; two nieces and a nephews in Poultney. Burial was in Wales.
