Source, Rutland (Vt) Daily Herald--Thur.Jan.25, 1951. MRS. JOSEPH A. GRAVELLE. Mrs. Elrina Knipes Gravelle, wife of Joseph A. Gravelle of North Clarendon, Vt., died early yesterday a the Rutland (Vt hospital following a long illness.She was born in Rutland ,Vt., September 18, 1898, residing in Rutland and North Clarendon all her life. Besides her husband she is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Russel E.Handly and Mrs. John T. Shelvey, jr. both of this city (Rutland); one sister, Mrs. Ronald Cairns of Stratford, Conn.; a brother, David L. Knipes of Rutland; five grandsons, one granddaughter, several nieces and nephews Funeral services will be held tomorrow at 9 a.m. at the Immaculate Heart of Mary church. Entombment will be in the vault at St. Joseph's cemetery. The body is at the Clifford Funeral home where friends may call today from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
