Source, Rutland ,Vt.Daily Herald--Sat.July 25, 1953. RUTLAND, Vt. DAVID DICKINSON. David Dickinson, 69, of the East Proctor road, died yesterday morning after a long illness. Born in Woodsville, N.H., in 1884, he moved to Rutland at an early age.He was a member of the Farm Bureau and for 25 years operated the Center Rutland Farms. He is survived by three daughter, Mrs. Bernard Baker of Center Rutland, Mrs. Joseph Lawler of Manchester, and Mrs. Willis Stockbridge of Topsham; a son, David Dickinson, Jr.,of Center Rutland; six grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held tomorrow at 2 p.m. at the Aldous Funeral Home with the Rev. G. Lewis Porter officiating. Friends may call at the Funeral Home from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery.
