The East Poultney Parent-Teacher Association will hold its regular meeting this Friday evening in Schoolhouse hall, at which time there will be matters of special interest presented. Rollin Wescott, who has been at the Cambridge hospital for treatment, has returned to his home here. Mrs. Maude Buxton of Newton, Mass., was a week-end guest of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Henry Gates. Miss Marion G. Bliss who has been spending the winter with her sister, Mrs. Francis Symonds in Columbus,Ohio, has returned to her home here. Mrs. Elmer Carr and children of Thomaston, Conn., are visiting her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Rollin Wescott. Stedman Aldrich of Dorset was a recent guest of Mr. and Mrs. George Baker. Claude Gates and family of Castleton were Sunday guests of his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Henry Gates. Miss Flora Carr of Forrestville, Conn., was a week-end guest of Mr. and Mrs. Rollin Wescott. Word has been received that Mrs. William Laughton who underwent two operations at the Mary Fletcher hospital, Burlington, is improving and expects to leave the hospital this week. She will visit at the home of her son, William Laughton in Burlington. Pre-Memorial exercises will be held Friday , the twenty-fifth in the East Poultney school house at 1:30 o'clock.
