Charles Delos Pond, a life long resident of Castleton, died at his home east of Castleton on Tuesday evening, following a long illness. He was born in Castleton July 30, 1870, He is survived by his wife ; two brothers, John P. Pond of Rutland and Fred L. Pond of Brooklyn, N. Y., a sister, Mrs. John Durant of West Newbury , a niece and three nephews. The funeral will be held on Friday afternoon at the Federated church at 3 o'clock. Transcribed by, Joan H. Bixby
