    1. [VTRUT] List of Letters, February 21, 1880
    2. This is a Message Board Post that is gatewayed to this mailing list. Author: cathabes1 Surnames: Classification: biography Message Board URL: http://boards.rootsweb.com/localities.northam.usa.states.vermont.counties.rutland/4788/mb.ashx Message Board Post: [My note - Apparently these lists were printed in newspapers to notify recipients in the days before home delivery became routine. The letters themselves are not available at any location today. The list indicates that someone had reason to believe that the addressee could be contacted in Rutland in 1880. This particular list interests me personally because it shows my widowed great-grandmother Mrs. Ellen McGinley receiving a letter six months before her marriage to my widowed great-grandfather. I find myself wondering if it was related to their courtship.] February 21, 1880 Rutland Daily Herald and Globe Post Office Advertised Letters at the Rutland Post Office, Rutland County, Vt., for the week ending February 21, 1880 Ladies' List: Allen, Mrs. Marie Emilie Arial, Mrs. Henrette Bunting, Mrs. Ellen Clifford, Mrs. E.
