January 1847. Her father's name is Firmin Cassista or Casista/Cachestor. Her mother is either Emilie or Amelia Girard or Marie Power/Proulx. I have her marriage and death certificates and her children's baptism records which all indicate her place of birth as Brandon,Vt. I did contact the clerk in Brandon,however there is no record of a birth in her office. She did suggest that I contact some of the small neighboring towns since Firmin was a farmer and in those years many used Brandon as a mailing address. Other possible towns would be Goshen, Sudbury and Leicester and perhaps others. I thought before trying to contact these towns I would try to see if there is someone who may be able to look up this information for me. The family is listed in the 1850 census in Swanton and 1860 & 1870 in Sheldon. Any information or advise would be appreciated. Thank you. Sandy Thank you.
