In the 1860 census Rockwood was living with his parents - James Barrett, 66, Merchant, born Mass., Merchant, Real Estate 122,300 and personal 16,000 Maria, 63, born in Mass. Rockford, 32, Merchant, Real Estate 18,000, born in Vt. Melvin Barrett, 28, with wife Mary and children Fanny and Theodore lived in Mt. Tabor, Rutland County in 1870. I don't find Rookwood Barrett in the censuses.
