Thomas Moon was born in Exeter, RI in 1745/46 and died in Machias, Cattaraugus Co., NY in 1834. He appears in the 1790 census for Rutland Co., VT as living with wife, five boys and three girls. He is then in 1800 census for Ballston, Saratoga Co., NY, and in 1820 census for Charlton, Saratoga Co., NY. Some internet postings show Thomas with first marrage to Lydia Bly; second married to Deborah Hoxie, and a third marriage to a Mary ? I am researching probability that Thomas Moon is my ancestor.
