Source, Rutland (Vt) Daily Herald--Tues. Oct. 5, 1954. WILLIAM EMERY. William Emery, 82, of 138 Strongs Ave. Rutland, Vt., died yesterday afternoon after a long illness. He was born in West Chazy, N.Y., in 1871, a son of Amelia and William Emery. He moved to Rutland at an early age where he spent his life. Besides his wife, the former Cora Mae Alexander, he leaves two daughters, Mrs. Joseph Bratu of Rutland, Vt. and Mrs. Joseph Benosky of York, Pa.; one son, Andrew W. Emery of Rutland ; and a sister, Mrs. James Mylott, also of Rutland, Vt. Funeral services will be held at the Aldous Funeral Home Wednesday at 2 p.m. with the Rev. G. Lewis Porter officiating. Burial will be in the East Clarendon Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home today from 7 to 9 p.m.
