    2. Source,Rutland(Vt) Daily Herald--Fri. Dec. 13, 1946. MISS GILMORE DIES AT 90. Miss Anna James Gilmore, a life-long resident of West Rutland (Vt), died early yesterday morning at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Charles L.Montgomery of Barnes street, West Rutland, after a long illness. She was in her 91st year. Miss Gilmore was born September 7, 1856, the daughter of James L. and Mary Ann Perry Gilmore. The last survivor of one of West Rutland's oldest families,she had lived alone in the family home on Pleasant street there until six weeks ago, when she became ill and was moved to the Montgomery home. Until that time she had done her own housework, and she enjoyed a large circle of friends. One of a musical family, she and her sister, Mary and two brothers, William and Charles formed a quartet,which presented many programs throughout the state. For many years she was organist at the United Church of West Rutland, of which she was a member. She was also a music teacher and a member of the Woman's Missionary society. Surviving her are three cousins, Miss Arabella Gilmore of New York, Robert C. Gilmore of Nichols, Conn., and the Rev. Arthur Bersey of Yonkers, N.Y. Funeral services will be held tomorrow at 2 o'clock at the United Church in West Rutland. Friends may call at the Tossing Funeral Home in Rutland this afternoon and evening.
