Source, Rutland (Vt) Daily Herald--Thur.Feb. 14,1963. MRS. MILTON M. BURNS. East Clarendon, Vt.--Mrs. Anna Burns, 70, widow of Milton M. Burns, died Wednesday afternoon here in the home of her son, Robert Burns, following a short illness. Mrs. Burns was born in Burlington, Vt. April 26, 1892, the daughter of of John and Pauline (Dolphine) McQueen. She lived in Clarendon, Vt. for the last 35 years. Her husband, Milton M. Burns, died in 1958. Surviving are four sons, Robert, Harry Burns and Clarence Burns of Clarendon, Vt., and George Burns of Rensselaer, N.Y., six grandchildren and one great-grandchild, several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Friday in the Congdon Funeral Home in Wallingford, VT at 2 p.m., the Rev. Olof Johnson, pastor of the Castleton Federated Church, officiating. Entombment will be in Green Hill Cemetery with burial in the spring in the East Clarendon Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
