Killed by a Kick Rutland, Vt., April 19 - Wyman A. Bridge, 54 years old, was instantly killed at Danby Tuesday by a kick from a horse. The horse struck him full in the face, one shoe calk striking each eyebrow, and death was instantaneous. (A shoe calk was a pointed extension on the toe or heels of a horseshoe, designed to prevent slipping.)
