Source, Rutland (Vt) Daily Herald--Tues. Jan. 30,1945. Daniel E. Alexander of 12 Pine street (Rutland, Vt) died early yesterday morning at the Rutland Hospital after a long illness. Born in Brandon, Vt. on July 28, 1868, he was the son of the late Hiram A. and Mary Rogers Alexander. Mr. Alexander is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Louis Vincent and Mrs, Daniel Vincent ; a sister, Mrs. William Emery ; a brother, Frank Alexander ; three step- daughters, Mrs. Frank Pelkey, Mrs. Julius Knipes and Frank Wescott; 10 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren, all of Rutland, Vt. The body was moved to the Spencer Funeral home on West street, where the funeral services will be held tomorrow afternoon at 2 o'clock, with the Rev. Frank W. Grippin, pastor of the Methodist church, officiating.
