Source, Rutland Daily Herald--Mon. Aug. 25, 1941. WALLINGFORD GIRL SCOUTS. Albert Patch, Wayne Hager (husband's g-uncle) , Thomas Ketcham, Duane Mead, Mrs. Myron Kelley and Mrs. Raymond Seaver furnished transportation for the Girl Scouts on their return from their week's camp in Townshend. All girls were weighed on their arrival and on leaving. The average gain was three and a half pounds. Shirley Mead was chosen editor of the camp paper which will be distributed at the first troop meeting September 4. The last night in camp was devoted to a birthday picnic when a cake was cut by four girls who had birthdays during the week. Carolyn Holden, Marion Eddy, Isabel Patch and Evelyn Davenport.
