Thank you! My grandfather Michael McCormack was naturalized in the early 1940 era. He arrived from Co. Kilkenny in 1906, but was not sure he wanted to stay until after he became a grandfather! I have found his ship and roster from the Ellis Island site. I would like to know where to find his naturalization records. He worked for his Uncle Thomas McCormack also from Kilkenny who had a marble quarry in Danby/Dorset area. He moved to West Rutland before 1912 as my father was born in 1912 in West Rutland, so West Rutland would have been his home at the time of his naturalization.I need to know where to find those records. My cousins have been unable to find Thomas McCormack's earlier naturalization. I believe he lived in Dorset, but it could have been Danby. Thank you so much for sharing!
