Elbert was born in Middletown Springs 1868 and Nellie was born in Poultney 1872. They had 4 children as far as I know: Joel Simonds Mason, Sara Mason, Flaura Mason and Frances Mason. I am the granddaughter of Joel and my father never mentioned his aunts or cousins. I want very much to find more of my family tree. Forgive my typos. Waiting to hear from you.     3. This family is somewhat elusive! Though buried in Poultney [Peter, Sarah A, Russel H, William A, Frank J, Nellie E LANDRY; Elbert W & Joel S MASON] I found no reference in the town reports or census that they actually lived there. They did appear to move around a lot. Elbert Whiting MASON and Nellie Edyth [Edith] LANDRY were married 02/09/1899 in Rutland. The info is from the census, the social security death index, newspaper archives, some cemetery and other vital records from the area and a coroner report from OH. Though the information was copied from these sources, I can't be certain they are the people you are looking for. I used the names, dates and places of birth and tried to follow them through.
