Hi, Bill, I don't think Sara Noonan subscribes to the Rutland Mailing List. She has only ever posted on the Rutland Message Board, so to ask for Schomb details you would need to reply to her message which is at: http://boards.rootsweb.com/localities.northam.usa.states.vermont.counties.rutland/4764/mb.ashx (All the Rutland Message board posts automaticaly get sent to the Rutland Mailing List, but none of the Rutland Mailing List posts get sent to the Rutland Message Board. You can receive Sara's message, but you can't answer her on the Rutland Mailing List. You have to go to the Message Board.) I did look at the index for Schomb, and Sara lists one Francis Schomb, a Frenchman from Moscow, Lower Canada who was born in 1822. The actual naturalization record would have more information, and she can send you a picture of it if you reply to her message and leave your email address. You want to give her the information that you want: "Image dsc 03765, Vol 2 Page 392, Francis Schomb". Hope this helps.
