Rutland Herald 3-29-1906 Attorney H. H. Powers asks that Court direct a verdict for the Railroad company. At the concluion of the evidence for the plaintiff in county court yesterday afternoon in the case of Mary Shum against the Rutland Railroad Co. in a suit to recover $10,000 because of the death of her husband, Wm. H. Shum, who was killed in Wallingford on the afternoon of January 3, 1904, by a locomotive running over the Rutland Railroad.
