Rutland Daily Herald Dec. 22, 1883 SENDING FOR A DEAD HUSBAND The wife of M. Flaherty, who was drowned in Lake St. Catherine near Poultney Monday was, as we have already stated, in the Utica Insane Asylum. A letter was received on Thursday from the authorities of the asylum announcing the recovery of Mrs. Flaherty, who had been an inmate for some time and requesting Flaherty to come after her.
