Hi Dawn, There seems to be some confusion. I am looking for the parents of Stephen G.Hooker not Stephen Gates. Silas, Stephen Gates brother, was the father of Mary Gates who maried Daniel Hooker who is the father of Stephen Hooker who I "think" might be my Stephen G. Hooker's father along with Abigail Goss, his mother. I joined NEHGS last night and am having a heck of a time finding anything for VT there. It all seems to be MA. Does any one have any tips on how to find a specific person or town like Brandon, VT. All I can find are books listed in the library which I can't access since I am not in the East. HELP!
