BRISTOL, VT.,Dec. 21--Funeral services were held yesterday afternoon at the Baptist church in Bristol for Mrs. Carrie (Besaw) Sumner who died suddenly Saturday night at her home in West Rutland, Vt. Rev. K. W. Sollitt officiated and burial was in Greenwood cemetery. The bearers were two nephews,Lee and Ray Brown and Lynn and Wallace Amidon of Rutland. Mrs. Sumner, wife of Guy Sumner was born 68 years ago in Fort Jackson, N. Y. Besides her husband she is survived by an aged mother, Mrs. Phoebe Besaw of Starksboro; two sisters, Mrs. Belle Kingsley of Bristol and Mrs. Charles Willcutt of Boston; three brothers, Emery and Oliver Besaw of Starksboro and Carlie Besaw of Winooski and several nieces and nephews.
