The officers and members of the Joyce Woman's Relief corps will meet at the home of Mrs. William Kelley at Hampton on Monday afternoon at 12:30 to attend the funeral of Mrs. J. L. Clark. Mrs. James Garrity left today for New York city to join her husband, who has just returned from Europe. Mrs. L. S. Kintner, who has been visiting Mrs. John Cairns at Rutland, has returned to her home on Church street. Miss Clara Flynn has returned to her home in Burlington after spending several days with her sister, Mrs. James Butler. Mr. and Mrs. John Kelley of Greenwich, N. Y., are visiting at their former home in East Poultney. Mrs. J. L. Clark, aged 76 years, died at her home in Hampton at 7 o'clock on Saturday morning. Mrs. Clark had been an invalid for about seven years but death came suddenly at the last. She is survived by her husband and one daughter, Mrs. L. Woodard. The funeral will take place at the house on Monday afternoon, at 2 o'clock. Burial will be in Poultney cemetery. Mrs. Clarence McClure of Hydeville is visiting at the home of her mother, Mrs. W. Lamb of East Main street. Miss Anna Burns of Washington, D. C., is spending the holiday vacation wit her parents, Mr. and Mrs. William Burns. Mrs. Ira Wilson, whose home is on the Lake road, died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Thomas Evans, at Hampton, N. Y., on Thursday night at 11 o'clock, after a week illness of pneumonia. She is survived by her husband, four daughters, Mrs. Thomas Evans, Mrs. Lena Thomas, Mrs. D. Hooker and Mrs. Ellis Rowlands, and one son, Charles Wilson. The funeral was privately held at the home of her daughter in Hampton on Sunday afternoon at 1:30 o'clock. Transcribed by, Joan H. Bixby
