Obituaries WILLIAM J. CONSIDINE William J. Considine of 65 East street died at 7:30 o'clock yesterday morning at his home after a long illness. Survivors are his wife, one daughter, Shirley Considine, a son Frank Considine and two brothers, Charles J. and Michael J. Considine, all of this city. Another son, William Considine,was killed in action in France August 9, 1944. Funeral services will be held at the Church of Christ the King Friday morning at 9 o'clock. Burial will be in Calvary cemetery. Mr. Considine was born in Rutland June 10, 1890 and has always resided here. LAWTON H. KEPPLE Lawton H. Kepple of 68 Church street, died early yesterday morning at the Vermont sanatorium in Pittsford after a three months' illness. He was born in Bouquet, Pa., February 24, 1900 and has resided in Rutland for the past 18 years. He was employed at the Québec Cigar company. He is survived by his wife and a son Richard D. Kepple of this city; by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. C. A. Kepple, three sisters, Mrs. R.E. White, Mrs. Eugene Rummell and Mrs. W. J. Barger and by one brother Kenneth Kepple, all of Vandergrift, Pa. The body was moved to the Clifford funeral home and will be taken by train this afternoon to Vandergrift,where the funeral and burial services will be held. MISS JANETTE HILL RITES Funeral services for Miss Janette A. Hill of 27 Cottage street, who died Sunday at the home of her niece, Mr. John J. Meehan of 116 South Main street, were held yesterday afternoon at 2 o"clock at Trinity church chapel. The Rev. Harvey D. Butterfield, rector, officiated. The bearers were Allen E. Bruce and Charles E. Simonds of Springfield and John J. Meehan, Arthur J. Courcelle, Kenneth J. Emrick, and James E. Courcelle of this city. The floral tributes sent to family members were from relatives, friends and neighbors. Burial was in the family plot in the village cemetery in Belmont, the Rev. M. Butterfield reading the committal services. Persons from outside of Rutland attending the funeral services were Mrs. Lena Davis of Proctorsville, Mrs. Charles Simonds and Mrs. Henry Davis of Springfield, and Mrs. Blanche Glynn of Chester. MRS. ARTHUR C. STOVER Mrs. Arthur C. Grover, 75, of 56 Evergreen avenue, died last night at the Pratt Convalescent home after a long illness. She was born December 17, 1879 in Orono, Me. She was a member of the Congregational Church and of Phyllis chapter, Order of the Eastern state. Mrs. Grover is survived by her husband, a daughter, Mrs. Maynard Welch of Carlisle, Mass - rest of the article is cut off WEDDINGS, PARTIES Mr. and Mrs. W. A. Ransom A reception was held for Mr. and Mrs. William A. Ransom of Egg Harbor, N.J., who were married there recently, was held last week at the home of the bridegroom's brother, Dana E. Ransom on St. John Street. Mrs. Ransom, the former Miss Beatrice Ruggero, had as her matron of honor at the wedding, Mrs. Mary Stone of Egg Harbor. Lt. (j g) Richard R. Ransom, brother of the bridegroom, was best man. Persons from out of town attending the reception here included Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Daniels of Orwell, Mr. and Mrs. Lemuel Ransom and family of Salisbury and Mrs. Mabel Beriau and family of East Pittsford. Ransom, a former resident of Rutland, and recently discharged from the Army where he served as a staff sergeant, is employed at the naval infirmary at Egg Harbor.
