The cause of her decease was cancer of the stomach. Mrs. Pratt, whose maiden name was Evarts, was the widow of the late Rollin Pratt, who died a few years ago. She was born in Rutland, Vermont Dec. 6, 1814, consequently being 74 years of age. In 1837, she was married to Mr. Pratt and then moved to this city where she has lived to the present time.
