    2. Source, Rutland Vt.Daily Herald--Wed.June 8, 1910. FAIR HAVEN, Vt. The baccalaureate sermon of the senior class of the Fair Haven high school will be preached by Rev. E. C. Farwell in the Methodist church Sunday evening at 7:30 o'clock. Miss Jennie Owens of Glens Falls, N.Y., is visiting her parents on Grape street. Mrs. J. H. Polley returned Monday night after a short visit in Whitehall, N.Y. Mr. and Mrs. David T. Williams and Robert R. Roberts of Granville, N.Y., were in town Tuesday to attend the funeral of Edward Thomas. Miss Maude Guerney of Whitehall, N.Y., visited friends in town on Tuesday. Mrs. G. H. Shinville goes today to Burlington. Pierce Roberts of Poultney,Vt. visited friends in town Tuesday. Miss Lillian Raino, who has been spending several days with Miss Nina Henderson, returned Tuesday to her home in Whitehall, N.Y. Mrs. Henry Webster returned Tuesday from Bristol. F.E.Grace was in Rutland on business Tuesday. William Mapes, who has been spending several weeks with Mr. and Mrs. W.W. Parry on Fourth street, left Tuesday for New York city. Mr. and Mrs. John Kissane of Rutland visited relatives in town Tuesday. Misses Nina Henderson and Hattie Gervy visited relatives in Rutland Tuesday. Miss Fannie Fennell left Tuesday for a several months' visit in Cleveland, O. Robert R.Hughes of Center Rutland visited relatives in town Tuesday. The Fair Haven high school baseball team will play Proctor high at Fairmount park Saturday afternoon. Word was received here Tuesday of the death at 2 o'clock Monday morning in New Rochelle, N.Y., of Mrs. Moses Evans, an old resident of this place. The body will be brought here on the 9:45 train Thursday morning and taken to the Welsh Presbyterian church, where the funeral will be held at 2 o'clock Thursday afternoon. Burial will be in Cedar Grove cemetery. F. H. Shepard is spending several days in Troy and Albany, N.Y.
