She was born in Monroe, Mass., June 21, 1881, daughter of David and Mariette ( Tower) Sherman. Mrs. Harvey had made her home in Clarendon Springs for the past 15 years. She was a member of the Ira Baptist church, and an honorary member of the Ira Home Demonstration Club. Survivors are her husband, Frank Harvey of Clarendon Springs, Vt ; two sons, Fred Blanchard of Middleboro, Mass., and Harry Blanchard of Moscow ; one daughter, Mrs. Robert Peters of Clarendon Springs, Vt.; one step-son, George Harvey of Greenfield, Mass. ; five step-daughters, Mrs. Alice Powers of Whitingham, Mrs. Helen Henry of Franklin, Mass., Mrs. Flora Tracy of Whitingham and Mrs. Carrie Tracey and Mrs. Dorthea Underhill , both of Whitingham ; seven grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Saturday at the Tossing Funeral Home, Rutland, Vt., with the Rev. Harold M. Dodd of the Ira Baptist Church officiating. Interment services will be in the South Cemetery in Readsboro. Friends may call at the funeral home Friday from 7 to 9 p.m.

Hospital after a long illness. She was born in Mendon, Vt. Jan. 9, 1904, daughter of John and Clara (Potter) Parker. She had lived her life in North Clarendon, Vt. Mrs. Squier was a member of the Wallingford, Vt. Baptist Church, DAR and the Poultney Historical Society. For many years she operated the Air Line Antique Shop in North Clarendon on old Route 7. Survivors include her husband, John P. Squier ; a granddaughter, Mrs. Edward Wilder of Rutland, Vt.; two great-grandchildren; a step-son, John J. Squier of Tinmouth, Vt. and a step-daughter, Mrs. Alice Crosby of Holly Hill, Fla. The last two years Mrs. Squier made her home with Mr. and Mrs. Michael Southard in North Clarendon, Vt. Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Friday at Tossing Funeral Home, Rutland, Vt. Entombment will be in Evergreen Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Those who wish may send contributions to the Rutland County Humane Society or the Wallingford, Vt. Baptist Church in Mrs. Squier's memory. P.S.-- Mrs. Squier is buried in the East Clarendon Cemetery.

Hospital after a short illness. Born June 24,1893, in Wallingford,Vt., daughter of Charles and Addie (Williams) Wade, she attended school there. A member of the Green Hill Home Demonstration group, she was past president of the Wallingford American Legion Auxiliary. During World War 11, she worked at the American Fork & Hoe Co in Wallingford, (now True Temper Corp.) , and at several summer homes. She was with the Air Civil Defense during the war. Survivors include her husband, Joseph S. Wilder of Clarendon, Vt., five daughters, Mrs. Esther Wade of Baldwinsville, N.Y., Mrs. Marion Lewis of North Clarendon, Vt.,Mrs. Gladys Lanfear of Clarendon, Mrs. Mary Whitney of North Clarendon, Vt. and Mrs. Phyllis Smith of Central Square, N.Y.; three sons, Harold S. Wilder of Syracuse, N.Y., Charles W. Wilder of Clarendon, Vt. and Joseph Jr. of Wallingford, Vt.; 28 grandchildren and 36 great- grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 2 p.m. in the Wallingford Congregational Church. Burial will be in Green Hill Cemetery in Wallingford, Vt. Friends may call at the Congdon Funeral Home in Wallingford, Vt. Monday from 7 to 9 p.m.

He was born June 21, 1903, in Bridgewater, Vt., son of Myron and Gertrude ( Capron) Ackley. He was a member of the Clarendon Congregational Church, the Otter Valley Grange of North Clarendon and the Brotherhood of Railway and Steamship Clerks, Lodge 1244. He was formerly employed by the Rutland Railroad Corp. as a clerk until his retirement in 1955. He was active in the Vermont Wing, Civil Air Patrol, until he retired as a lieutenant colonel in January 1965 and was for many years director of the cadet training for the state of Vermont. He was active in Civil Defense with District 3. He is survived by his wife, Guila (St.John) Ackley; three daughters, Mrs. George Graves and Mrs. John Ferguson, both of Rutland,Vt., and Mrs. Norman Davidson ( should be Davis), in Clarendon, Vt.; three sons, Myron Ackley of Hartford, Conn., Russell Ackley of North Clarendon, Vt., and William Ackley of Rutland, Vt.; two brothers, Edward Ackley of Matthews, Va., and Gordon Ackley of Hydeville, Vt.; 14 grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Funeral Services will be held Friday 2 p.m. at the Aldous Funeral Home, Rutland, Vt. Interment will be in East Clarendon Cemetery.     2. Source, Rutland Vt.Daily Herald--Fri. Oct. 8, 1926. FAIR HAVEN, Vt. Mrs. Catherine Morgan, 82. Mrs. Catherine Morgan died at her home Wednesday night at 9:30 o'clock after an illness of several weeks. She was born in Ireland in 1844 and has since lived in this vicinity practically all her life. Mrs. Morgan was the mother of 12 children, six of whom survive her, four daughters, Mrs. Anna Nolan, Mrs. Thomas Hayes and Mrs. Harry Sullivan of Fair Haven, Vt., Mrs. R. M. Ryan of Orwell, Vt., and two sons, John Edward and James P. Morgan of this town. he is also survived by one sister, Mrs. Mary McDonald of Wisconsin and by 20 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.The funeral will be held tomorrow morning at 9 o'clock at St. Mary's Catholic church. Burial will be in St. Mary's cemetery.

The funeral was privately held at the home of her daughter in Hampton, N.Y. on Sunday afternoon at 1:30 o'clock.

    2. Thank you for your offer of limited lookups. I am interested in my ancester Mary Crowley who married her first husband, Dennis Driskell (or Driscoll) ca 1859/1860, probably in Rutland county. They lived in Poultney 1860-1865. Dennis died in some sort of rail road accident between 1865 and 1867, but I don't know where. They are both immagrants from Ireland and Roman Catholic. Any help would be appreciated. Their second child was christened in Fair Haven, at the Catholic church there in 1863. Bob Evans
