    2. Source, Rutland Vt. Daily Herald--Sat. Nov. 1, 1975. ALICE KEYES. Alice M. Keyes, 92, of North Clarendon, Vt., died Friday morning at her home after a short illness. She was born Sept. 8, 1883, in Clarendon,Vt., daughter of John and Fannie ( Tubbs) Keyes. She had been a resident of Clarendon, Vt. her entire life. She was a graduate of Castleton , Vt. Normal School in 1903 and had taught school in Clarendon are until her retirement. She was a member of the Brick Church in Clarendon and the Home Demonstration Club of Chippenhook. She is survived by a niece, Mrs. Paul Shedd of North Clarendon, Vt. Funeral services will be held Sunday at 2 p.m. at the Aldous Funeral Home( Rutland,Vt.) Burial will be in Chippenhook Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home Saturday from 7 to 9 p.m. The family requests that those who wish may make contributions to the Clarendon Volunteer Fire Department in care of Chief Alan Ridlon of North Clarendon, Vt.

Mitchell's were Mr. and Mrs. Hallie Hall and daughter and Mr. and Mrs. Carl White of Rutland. The chimney on Grange hall has been repaired. Mr. and Mrs. George Davis of Clarendon, Mrs. Eliza Griswold of Castleton and Alice Keyes of Chippenhook visited Mr. and Mrs. S. H. Mitchell Monday.

    2. Source, Rutland Vt. Daily Herald--Fri.Oct.8, 1926. FAIR HAVEN, Vt.--Correspondent, Harry J. Williams, 8 Carnarvon Street. The funeral of Charles Barber will be held at his late home tomorrow afternoon at 2 o'clock. Mr. and Mrs. Bert Garneau, Mrs. Jubar and Florence M.Guiness were in Glens Falls (NY) Wednesday to attend the funeral of John H. Jones , a former resident of this town. The Friendly class will hold a halloween party at the home of Mrs. James Cull in North Poultney this evening. Mrs. Ralph Bush is crating and packing her furniture in preparing to move to St. Louis. Homer Perry, who has been seriously ill, is much improved. A large number from here went to Whitehall (NY) recently to hear the Rhondda Male Choir from Wales. Frank McDonough has moved to the house he recently bought on Second street. A special collection will be taken Sunday morning for American Red Cross relief work in Florida. Preparations for the Sodality bazaar are progressing. Members having articles to donate are requested to send them to Miss Mary Starr or Mrs. Matthew Foley.

    2. Source, Rutland Vt. Daily Herald--Sat. March 26, 1966. Mount Holly, Vt. Funeral services for Carl Kaipman, 74, who died suddenly Thursday , will be conducted Sunday at 2 p.m. at the Hastings & Congdon Funeral Home in Ludlow, Vt.by Rev. C. Arthur Hazen, pastor of Ludlow United Church. Entombment will be in Maple Grove Cemetery, with burial in the spring. He was born Dec. 22, 1891, in Finland. He lived in Mount Holly, Vt. for about 20 years, and was a retired carpenter.He was also in the Merchant Marines during World War 11. Surviving are his wife, the former Katrin Skytta ; one step-daughter, Mrs. Viola Higgens of Levittown, L. I., N. Y. ; a brother ; a sister; and several nieces and nephews in Finland ; and six step-grandchildren. There will be no calling hours.

    2. It's very easy to find. It's on Route 4 West going out of Rutland. Across from the Mac's convenience store (right side), the entrance is plainly marked. The office is right there at the gate, so you can ask which section to go. It's a large and beautiful place. Beck
