They did live in North End of Springfield, Mass. in the 1920's and 1930's on Roseland St. and on Birnie Ave. which is next to Plainfield st. Rose Clough (Pepin) had been born in Easthampton, Mass. My Oscar Thomas born in Sandgate married a Blanche Sharkey. This Thomas family is from the Bennington Co. Area. Oscar is the only one named as such. They lived all around the area. My Grandfather, George was a blacksmith which took them all over the southern VT area. They did live in the Rutland area also. Jane Stickle Crosier
Source, Rutland Vt.daily herald--Thur.Mar. 23, 1911. CASTLETON, Vt. Mrs. I. N. Perry died at her home here yesterday afternoon after a brief illness with pneumonia. She was 70 years of age and is survived by her husband and three sons, George Kelleway of Oregon, Fred Kelleway of West Rutland and John Kelleway of Oregon. The funeral arrangements are not yet made.

Source, Rutland Vt.Daily Herald--Sun.Mar.14, 1976. ALBERT R. PERRY. WALLINGFORD, Vt.--Albert R. Perry, 68, of 20 School street, died suddenly Saturday morning. He was born Dec. 19, 1907, in Hebron, N.Y., son of Raymond F. and Mariam (Springer) Perry. Mr. Perry worked for True Temper Co., here before his retirement. He was past president of Wallingford Rotary Club, past master of Chipman Lodge 52, Waverly Chapter 10 Eastern Star. He was a former town selectman, and was presently a town lister. Mr.Perry was a trustee of Gilbert Hart Library and moderator of the fire district here and a member of Wallingford Congregational Church. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Thelma (Carlton) Perry; three daughters, Mrs. Nancy Livak of Rutland Town, Mrs. Helen Favor of Newark, De., and Mrs. Patricia Messer of Northfield, Mass.; two sons, Albert R. Perry Jr. of Wallingford and John O. Perry of Chittenden; one sister, Mrs. Myrtle F. Gough of Rupert, 13 grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 2 p.m.Wallingford Congregational Church. Entombment will be in Green Hill cemetery in West Pawlet, Vt. Friends may call at Congdon Funeral Home here Monday from 7 to 9 p.m.Masonic services will be held at the funeral home at 8 p.m. Monday. In lieu of flowers donations to the Gilbert Hart Library or Wallingford Congregational Church, have been suggested by the family.

Clarendon Springs, was born on the farm he now owns (which consists of 250 acres) October 29,1840. Has been selectman of the town. He is a great- grandson Obadiah Chapman, who came from Connecticut in March 1789, and took up a farm of one hundred acres, being part of the above farm.His grandfather, Joseph, occupied the farm with the exception of about twenty-five years, until his death, also J. H.'s father until his death, which occurred December 10, 1882. He was married December 15, 1825, to Harriette Smith, a daughter of John and Mercy (Mead) Smith, of Rutland. They had three children ; Bradley (deceased), Dorcas and Joseph H. ; married September 5, 1866 to Julia Smith, a daughter of Obadiah and Innocence ( Morton) Smith , of Castleton ; have one child, Leon B.
