    1. Mary Jane Maynard/Mainard 1820 Pittsford, Vermont
    2. Still researching my ancestor, Mary Jane Maynard Ware. I am trying to identify her parents or siblings. Mary Jane was born on October 24, 1820 in Pittsford, Rutland Vermont. Her obituary has her maiden name spelled Mainard. I just eliminated who I thought could have been her parents. But in the process of elimination, I uncovered a few new possibilities. 1. Abner Maynard 1840 census has him living in Rutland, Orwell 1830 census has his name spelled Abner Mainard and he is still in Rutland, Orwell with a female child 10-15 years old. 1820 census has him living in Rutland, Orwell. Name is spelled Mainard 2. John Maynard 1840 census has him living in Rutland, Rutland 1830 census has his name spelled John Mainard and he is still in Rutland, Orwell with a female child 10-15 years old 1820 census has him living in Rutland, Rutland and his name is spelled Mainard. I am hoping that someone on this list has information about these two families and might be able to confirm or eliminate their connection to my Mary Jane Maynard./Mainard. Thanks, Jim in Ohio
