Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/rw/0AC.2ACI/15.2 Message Board Post: The 1870 census for the Town of Waupaca, Waupaca, WI list an Asahel Hummison age 60. From the census it appears he married my ggg-grandmother Maria (Partridge) Boughton widow of Myron who was killed in the Civil War. There are three children listed May age 5, Clarance age 3 and Leona age 2. In the 1880 Census Asahel is gone and so are the two oldest children. I have not found any death records yet, so I really do not know what happened to him or the two children. I know Leona move to Hammond LA with her mother around 1890 and was still in Hammond in 1900, but I don't know what happened to her after 1900.
