Am wondering if anyone has a Gardner/ Russell connection, possibly in Thetford, Orange Co., Vt.? I have a George Russell Gardner born around the early 1800's, unknown where, and married to a Sally Foss, whose father, Josiah Foss m. to a Priscilla Bartlett who were in Thetford, Vt. in the early 1800's. George and Sally had a son, Russell Gardner b. in Derby, Orleans Co., Vt. in 1833. Know there were Gardner's, Russell's, Foss' and Bartlett's in Thetford in this time frame, but have not been able to confirm all the connections. Any help will be greatly appreciated. I also have a book, that I just received called "Once Upon A Town," by Charlotte McCartney which is a book about Thetford.
