Hello Ralph -- I took a look in the History of Corinth, which I happen to have checked out of the library, but there is no mention of a Heath with a wife named Ruth, or a Heath that went to CA. I just came across a Mrs. Ruth A. Heath who d. or was buried, 5 Jun 1856 at age 33. She is buried in the Sacramento City Cemetery. On her cemetery "record" is the notation "From Corinth, VT; tb." The "tb" stands for what she died of and the "From Corinth, VT - to me - means she was sent here to Sacramento for burial (it could also mean that she was born/from Corinth). Is there anyone on the list working on the Heath family? Or that could do a little lookin' on this for me...say an obit or death notice? I would most appreciate any assistance on this.
