I have been advised that I should research the surname Dueckel/Doeckel/Döckel in the book called "Dictionary of German Names" (Deutsches Namenlexikon) by Hans Bahlow. I hesitate to go to the expense of ordering it when I am unsure my surname would be included. Does anyone know where I could look at this book in VT, NH, or MA?
