I am researching ISAAC FARNSWORTH m. to Deborah. Both born in Vermont. He born in 1789, she in 1809. . Her parents were Scottish. The Farnsworth family was residing in Orange County, township of Thetford, as of 1850 . Children of this couple were: Almira, Maria,Harlan, Austin,Isaac, and Albert. By 1856 the family were Minnesota territorial pioneers. Isaac, Sr. was a veteran of the war of 1812 and is the only veteran of this war buried in Fillmore County, Minnesota. As of the 1930s he had at least one descendant yet in Vermont, a granddaughter who had mailed a letter to Minnesota inquiring about him. His widow, Deborah, removed to Minneapolis, Minnesota circa 1890 where two of her sons and one grandson worked for a building firm called H.N. Leighton.
