Hello, I have traced my ggg grandfather Benjamin HINKSON to Corinth, Vermont. He was born about 1777 and married Sarah SAMPSON in Bradford, Vermont 20 February 1801. Benjamin moved to Amity Township, Erie County, Pennsylvania in 1818. He is last located on the 1850 US Federal Census for Amity Twp. Erie County PA. He was 73 years old. Does anyone have any further information on this family? I have reason to believe that Benjamin's parents may be John HINKSON and Anna CHAPMAN, but I cannot find a firm link to prove that this is the right connection.
