Constance, I have Avery ancestors from Orange County - they were in Stonington before going to VT, so there's probably a link someplace, with a name like Avery Denison. (And I'm trying to find ancestors of Sally Jones - she married Christopher Avery who was born in New London, CT, and they ended up in Orange County. She was born 1776 in Meriden.)
