Hello Orange County Listers, I am looking for my 3rd greatGrandmother, Emeline Sweet, who was born 11Nov1820 in Bradford, Orange Co., VT. She married John Tatch on 29May1837 in Fairhaven, Mass. She had three brothers, that I know of... Lafayette Sweet, b. 27Apr1825 in Bradford, VT Andrew A. Sweet, b 1830-1834 in VT Benjamin F. Sweet, b. 1832 in Mass. Is anybody related to this family? They seemed to have moved from Bradford, VT to Massachusetts, and then on to Madison, Montgomery, and Macoupin Co., Illinois. I cannot find parents for these Sweet siblings. I have had no luck with the census. Are there any directories for Bradford between 1820 and 1832? Any other suggestions where to search, would be very much appreciated. I'm stuck.
